Why the Change?
The decision to change our name wasn’t made lightly. Over the years, we’ve been frequently confused with another credit union in the Miami Valley. This confusion caused distraction from what truly matters—serving you. To clear the road ahead, we chose a name that better reflects who we are and the path we walk with our members.

Treadwell Credit Union may be a new name, but our roots run deep. We began in 1957, built by and for General Motors employees. That spirit of community, hard work, and forward momentum is woven into everything we do. Our new name is a nod to that legacy—tread speaks to where we’ve been, and well signals how we move forward with strength and care.
